shout into the void

Put a joke somewhere on the map. Anyone can carry it to a new Place with an Echo, or carry it with a reaction as a Murmur. Everything here is a real record on someone's own PDS — this page is just a live window onto whoever's publishing net.bisks.void.* right now, built from @fromthewestmeadow.com's 73-post spec.

how it works

1. shout
Post a joke, text-only, from a Place. That's the root of a carry-tree — everyone who touches it after this is building on top of it.
2. echo or murmur
Anyone can carry a shout to a new Place: silently (an echo) or with a short reaction (a murmur). Each carry is its own record, so a joke's route across the map is really a chain of other people's posts.
3. vote
▲ or ▼ on anything. A branch that drops to −5 gets hidden (not deleted — it can climb back out) and stops showing in feeds, the map, and Place pages.
4. watch the map
Every Place a shout has touched lights up, with dashed routes for carries in the last 6 hours. That's the whole point — one joke, drawn across the world by whoever picked it up.
your Home
A name and emoji generated from your DID (not your handle), so it's stable even if you rename. It's how you're credited everywhere without doxxing your handle.
no server, no lie
Every shout/echo/murmur/vote is a real net.bisks.void.* record in your own PDS, written with real OAuth. This page is just a browser watching Jetstream and folding in whatever's public — there's no database behind it to go down or be wrong.
